"Mike and Charles of Hammer Design did a large remodel project for us which involved major changes to the existing structure and adding 900 new square feet. Throughout the process Mike and Charles were incredible about staying in close communication--being responsive to questions and concerns and being straightforward with us about the project. They developed a detailed budget that they followed closely during the process. We always understood what we were spending money on. They are easy to work with and very collaborative in their process. Their work is beautiful and sturdy and we are very happy with our new home. We really appreciated the design/build model because we were able to easily make changes and decisions throughout the process as it unfolded. Doing a remodel is a stressful process and there were some hiccups along the way but overall this was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend Hammer Design to others. "
